Description:  

Under direct supervision, provides supporting services to improve the well-being of clients or staff in accordance with prescribed procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Assist Cook in preparation of specific food items, serving foods, washing dishes or pots.
  • Follows established procedures and produces standard product (cooking, serving) in accordance with established standards.
  • Has responsibility for planning and completing own work within scheduled deadlines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to accomplish Agency goals and purposes.

EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE

No specific academic education is required.  Mechanical aptitude may be specified.  A minimum of six month's related experience is required.  Food Service Sanitation Certificate preferred.
