SUMMARY
Full-time, Masters level clinician to work in the child and adolescent program in the Oak Park office. Will include carrying a clinical caseload in addition to providing crisis coverage two days a week. Two evenings per week will be required for the office-based clinical time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide individual, family, or group therapy to a caseload of clients as determined by program needs. Complete assessment in order to formulate an accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment interventions to serve the identified client and family.
- Assess and stabilize high risk individuals and/or families.
- Work in collaboration with other agency programs and staff. Coordinate with other community agencies and organizations such as DCFS, schools, hospitals, other providers in the community.
- Provide services to facilitate an effective transition in living arrangement, consistent with the client's welfare and development (e.g., a client being discharged from inpatient psychiatric care, transitioning to adult services, or a DCFS client moving from one placement to another or to his/her parent's home).
- Provide intensive outreach in an attempt to engage clients who do not follow through with post discharge/deflection appointments.
- Provide case management services as defined in the service plan that coordinate, support, and advocate for clients who need multiple services and require assistance in gaining access to and in using mental health , social, vocational, educational, child welfare, and other community services and resources.
- Provide psych education and medication training to client and/or family as required.
- Respond to clients and/or family needs outside of regularly scheduled session times.
- Monitor and support services provided by psychiatrist.
- Maintain records in accordance with agency policies and complete required outcomes protocols. Participate in agency meetings and in-services.
- Acquire and/or maintain state licensure. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or related degree.
