Pillars 13^th Annual House Tour:

Agency fundraiser celebrates its Golden Birthday on Sunday, June 13^th!

LAGRANGE PARK, IL – The Pillars House Tour will celebrate its Golden Birthday when the agency hosts its' 13^th Annual House Tour on Sunday, June 13^th.

In honor of this milestone, Pillars will host it's first ever House Tour Block Party for House Tour attendees on the 400 block of south Kensington. The Block Party tent will feature a design seminar from HGTV and TODAY Show design expert Frank Fontana from10:45 – 11:45am and lunch will be available for purchase from 12:15 – 3:15pm.

The five homes on the tour are all located in LaGrange, within walking distance of each other, showcasing a variety of unique styles and designs – from eco-friendly choices to living large in a small home.

The mental health and social service agency is hoping the revenue generated from the House Tour will help bridge the gap between the growing number of clients seeking their services, and a state budget deficit that will likely result in major funding cuts for social services. ""Our neighbors have always supported our efforts to build stronger, healthier communities; as we struggle through these difficult times we rely on their support more than ever…"" said Alderman.

Tickets to Pillars 13^th Annual House Tour are available online at www.pillarscommunity.org or by calling 708.995.3512. Tickets are also available for purchase at local businesses throughout LaGrange, Western Springs and Hinsdale. (full list available online) Tickets purchased prior to June 13^th are $30; Frank Fontana's seminar is included in the ticket price, but reservations are needed as seating is limited. Tickets sold the day of the House Tour will be $35. All proceeds from the House Tour will support Pillars programs and services.
