Licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, Pillars' Child and Family Development Center offers Head Start, Infant Toddler Programs and high quality childcare for low-income and working poor families. Tri-lingual teachers, family support specialists, and advocates work with families to ensure that our children receive a strong, healthy start in life.
- Head Start program offers half day programs, morning or afternoon, with optional wraparound day care for children age's three to five years old
- Child-oriented programs address physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs
- An in-depth curriculum develops literacy, creativity, language, math and science skills, and respect for the cultural and ethnic diversity of all. This program made possible thanks to the support of the Chicago Tribune Charities.
